Lekhapani, Oct 19: The quarterly Operational Group meeting under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) was held at Lekhapani on 18 October 2025 to review the security situation in Nagaland, South Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam.

The meeting focused on assessing the activities of proscribed groups in the region and addressing unrest related to the Indo-Myanmar (IMB) border fence. Participants emphasized the need for continued vigilance, intelligence sharing, and operational coordination among all security agencies.
The forum reaffirmed the collective commitment of security forces to sustain peace, ensure stability, and strengthen cooperation in ongoing and future operations across the northeastern border areas.
