Indian Coast Guard visits AR in Tripura

Agartala, Dec 25: A 10-member Indian Coast Guard delegation is on a six-day visit to Assam Rifles at Kunjaban Garrison, Agartala, from December 22 to 27, 2025, aimed at strengthening professional ties, exchanging best practices, and enhancing operational synergy between the two forces.

During the visit, the delegation held discussions with the DIG of 21 Sector Assam Rifles on regional security and operational coordination. They also witnessed the Beating Retreat ceremony, visited the Integrated Check Post (ICP) Agartala, and explored key cultural landmarks of Tripura.
On December 24, focused sessions were conducted to further deepen professional cooperation under the Charter of Affiliation, emphasizing joint strategies and knowledge-sharing for operational efficiency.
The delegation also paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, highlighting the importance of inter-force collaboration in strengthening national security. The visit reinforces the ongoing commitment of both forces to work together in addressing regional challenges and enhancing overall preparedness.
