Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir organised a creative workshop on the Viksit Bharat Utsav@2047.
The workshop was organised by SKUAST-K’s Directorate of Education and Department of Student Welfare under the flagship 21-day Foundation program IRTIQA-2023 titled ‘LEED to LIVE’.
Students from the university participated in essay writing, creative writing, and speech and quiz competitions on Viksit Bharat Utsav@2047. The theme for the program was ‘Role of Innovation, Science and Technology in Agricultural Development’, ‘Empowered Indians’, ‘Thriving and Sustainable Economy’, ‘Innovation Science & Technology’, ‘Good Governance and Security’ and ‘India in the world’.
A student from the Faculty of Agriculture was declared the winner and two students from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences secured 2nd and 3rd positions in the speech competition. All the students actively participate in the interaction and posed innovative questions to the speakers.
The students from the Faculty of Horticulture secured the first position in the quiz competition, and the students from the Faculty of Agriculture were declared the runner-up in the quiz competition.
A good number of students from SKUAST-K participated in the event of the foundation programme “LEED to LIVE” where deliberations were made under the banner of Viksit Bharat Utsov@2047.
