Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj & Election Department, Javed Dar, today joined the virtual launch of PM Dhan-Dhaanya Yojana and Self-Reliance in Pulses Mission, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

The event, aimed at boosting agricultural growth, enhancing food security, and promoting self-sufficiency in pulses production, was attended virtually from the Meeting Hall of DC Office Baramulla.
On the occasion, MLA Baramulla, Javed Hassan Beigh, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Minga Sherpa, Heads of various Departments, and progressive farmers also participated.
Minister Javed Dar highlighted that these initiatives will play a crucial role in strengthening the agriculture sector, improving farmers’ income, and advancing sustainable and self-reliant farming practices across Jammu and Kashmir.
Participants appreciated the Government of India’s continued focus on farmers’ welfare and emphasized the district’s commitment to effectively implementing these flagship programmes in alignment with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
