𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘂, 𝗡𝗼𝘃 11: Jammu, November 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has once again brought pride to the Union Territory with one of its outstanding athletes, Danish, from the Central Sports Team, achieving a remarkable feat at the Masters Asian Athletics Meet held in Chennai from November 5 to 9, 2025.
Showcasing exceptional talent and determination, Danish secured three gold medals in different track and field events, outshining top athletes from various Asian countries. His extraordinary performance not only brought laurels to the J&K Police but also highlighted the growing prominence of police athletes on the international sports stage.
Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed, J&K, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the athlete for his commendable achievement. The ADGP appreciated Danish’s dedication, discipline, and perseverance, which he said serve as an inspiration for other police personnel to pursue excellence both in service and in sports.
He further emphasized that the Jammu and Kashmir Police has always encouraged and supported sports talent among its ranks, providing them with the necessary facilities and platforms to excel at national and international levels.
