Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported two Covid-19 deaths and 108 new cases.
Of the 108 new cases, 22 were reported from Jammu division and 86 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 337915.
Srinagar reported 40 cases, Baramulla 11, Budgam 4, Pulwama 9, Kupwara 6, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 6, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 1, Jammu 11, Rajouri 2, Doda 7, Kathua 1 and Poonch 1.
There were two deaths due to Covid-19 in J&K today. One death each was reported from Kashmir and Jammu. So far 4483 persons have died of Covid-19 in J&K —2186 in Jammu region and 2297 in Kashmir.
Besides, 151 Covid-19 patients also recovered during the last 24 hours. Of them 30 were from Jammu region and 121 from Kashmir. So far 331771 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in J&K.
At present, there are 1661 Covid-19 cases in J&K —430 in Jammu and 1231 in Kashmir.
The officials said 62071 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered in J&K during the last 24 hours.
No new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) was reported today. So far 58 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.
