The J&K Shootingball Association hosted a felicitation ceremony to honor the Junior National Shootingball Team at Oasis Educational Institute, Gulshan Nagar, Nowgam, a statement said.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures including the Chairman, Director, Principals of both wings of Oasis School, and members of the J&K Shootingball Association.
The Junior Boys team was felicitated with National Participation Certificates and Appreciation Medals in recognition of their outstanding performance at the 37th Junior National Shootingball Championship, which was held in Kolkata, West Bengal, in December 2024.
The event celebrated the team's dedication and success on the national stage, further encouraging the growth of Shootingball in the region.
The Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association is set to hold open selection trials for the women’s team on 14th March 2025 at 11:30 AM at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar. The trials will be followed by a screening process.
The selected players will represent Jammu and Kashmir in the 52nd AAI Senior National Carrom Championship, scheduled to take place from 17th to 21st March 2025 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. The championship is organized by the All India Carrom Federation.
