Jammu, Jan 21: Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council has announced the conduct of Phase-I Open Selection Trials to identify the J&K contingent in different sports disciplines for participation in the upcoming Khelo India Tribal Games-2026, scheduled to be held at Chhattisgarh.
The trials are being organized for domicile athletes of Jammu & Kashmir belonging to the Tribal Community in the disciplines of Athletics, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Hockey and Football. Eligible players have been advised to report at the designated venues as per the schedule with all requisite documents.
It is being termed as a huge opportunity for aspiring athletes from tribal communities to showcase their talent and earn the chance to represent Jammu & Kashmir at the national level, while competing alongside the best athletes from across the country.
Interested athletes must produce their Domicile Certificate, Tribal Community Certificate and Aadhaar Card at the time of trials.

The trials shall be conducted under the supervision of technical officials and coaches of the respective disciplines. No TA/DA shall be admissible to the athletes for participation in the selection trials
