Poonch, Mar 20: A kit distribution ceremony for the two teams (Boys and Girls)

selected to represent Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory at the 29th Sub-Junior Throwball National Championship was held at College Ground Poonch on Friday.
The championship is scheduled to be held at Chitradurga, Karnataka, from March 27 to 29, 2025.
The kits were distributed by International Volleyball Coach Mohd Tariq Khan in the august presence of President District Poonch Throwball Association Javid Ahmed Lone.
Among others present on the occasion were Waseem Ahmed, Syed Imran Hussain Shah, Pervaiz Malik Afridi, Miss Dhania Sharma (Throwball Coach), Ikhlaq Mehmood Parrey (Joint Secretary, DPTA), Amir Banday, and Imtiaz Lone.
The ceremony was organised by the District Poonch Throwball Association under the aegis of J&K 7 Side Throwball Association. The speakers on the occasion extended their best wishes to the players and expressed hope that the teams will bring laurels to the Union Territory.
