JKBOSE Allows Students Clearing Private, Bi-Annual Exams to Join Next Regular Session

October 23, 2026 | BK NEWS SERVICE
Srinagar, Oct 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has permitted students who qualify private or bi-annual examinations to enrol in the succeeding annual regular examination, facilitating their continued academic progress.

As part of the decision, schools have been directed to admit eligible students to the next class, removing earlier restrictions that may have prevented them from pursuing their education through the regular stream.

The move will enable students who clear private or bi-annual examinations to return to the regular academic system without an interruption in their studies.

JKBOSE has placed the responsibility on schools to ensure that eligible students receive admission in accordance with the revised directions and that procedural hurdles arising from previous restrictions do not obstruct their academic progression.

The decision is expected to provide relief to students seeking to continue their education in the regular stream after successfully clearing the prescribed examinations.
