
Pulwama, Aug 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Pulwama, in collaboration with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), successfully concluded two Management Development Programmes (MDP-11 and MDP-12) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) initiative at Abhama, Pulwama.
The programmes trained 49 entrepreneurs, equipping them with structured, high-quality training designed to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and strengthen business capabilities.
The valedictory ceremony was attended by Nafia Nazir, Senior Manager P&A/Range Officer South (K); Raiyees Manzoor, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Pulwama; Iftikhar Bashir Lone, Assistant Faculty; Mohd Yasir, Assistant Faculty and S. Imran, Program Co-facilitator.
Interacting with the participants, M Nafia Nazir reviewed the progress of the program and highly appreciated the efforts of JKEDI Pulwama in organising impactful capacity-building programmes in the far-flung areas of Pulwama district. She commended the enthusiasm and active participation of the women entrepreneurs and encouraged them to apply the knowledge and skills gained to establish sustainable and growth-oriented enterprises.
Furthermore, Raiyees Manzoor emphasised the importance of such initiatives in promoting entrepreneurship and empowering women at the grassroots level, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas.
Participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to the course team and JKEDI for their dedicated guidance and support in successfully organising the program.
