Jammu, Jan 22: The 28th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships 2025–26 concluded today at Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, after four days of competition from January 19–22. Around 500 players from 15 districts participated.

District Jammu lifted the Winner’s Trophy, Udhampur finished second, and Budgam secured third place. Special recognition for active participation went to Shopian, Doda, Kathua, and Ramban, while Srinagar, Poonch, Bandipora, and Baramulla received the Best Sportsmanship Sprint Award.
The championship, organized by the J&K Taekwondo Association under the Taekwondo Federation of India and J&K Sports Council, highlighted the growing popularity of Taekwondo and the skill of young athletes across the Union Territory.
