Youth Civil Society Kashmir, in collaboration with Handwara Police, is organizing the 'Josh-e-Watan' Volleyball Championship in honour of Martyr DySP Shri Humayun Muzammil Bhat. The championship will kick off on July 9, 2025, at the Indoor Sports Stadium, Handwara.
Eight volleyball teams from across the Kashmir Valley, including players of national repute, will compete in this prestigious tournament. The event is aimed at paying tribute to the supreme sacrifice of DySP Humayun Muzammil Bhat, while promoting sportsmanship, youth engagement, and social unity.
The initiative reflects a joint commitment by civil society and law enforcement to foster positive development through sports and to keep alive the memory of those who laid down their lives in the line of duty. Youth from the region are encouraged to attend and support the event to make it a grand success.
