Srinagar, September 27: Jammu and Kashmir Police will host the Kashmir Marathon 2026, under the theme “Run For Unity”, on October 1 in Srinagar.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Police Golf Course and is aimed at encouraging fitness, unity and sportsmanship among people across the Valley.

A promotional video shared by J&K Police highlights moments from the previous edition, which drew thousands of participants. The marathon also witnessed the participation of athletes using wheelchairs, alongside runners taking part along the Dal Lake.

The upcoming event is expected to see participation from athletes, fitness enthusiasts and members of the public, further promoting sports and healthy living in the region.

J&K Police is expected to share additional information about registration, race categories and other participation details ahead of the event.
