
The Inter-Division UT Level Under-19 Boys Football Competition concluded today at Showkat Ali Stadium, Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla, with Kashmir Province emerging as the undisputed champions. The Kashmir side displayed remarkable dominance, winning all six matches against Jammu Province to lift the coveted title.
The three-day competition was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K under the chairmanship of Anuradha Gupta (JKAS), Director General YSS J&K, and hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Baramulla.
In the closing ceremony, Zahoor Ahmad Wani, DYSSO Baramulla, presented trophies to the winning and runner-up teams. He also interacted with the players and motivated the budding footballers to gear up for the upcoming National Football Championship, scheduled to be held later this year in Srinagar.
Furthermore, the selected players from this event will undergo a 10-day coaching camp at Ganderbal, commencing tomorrow, to sharpen their skills ahead of the national stage.
