Srinagar, Aug 28: In a significant achievement for technical education in Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmir Government Polytechnic College (KGP), Srinagar, has recorded a landmark success with 10 of its students being selected during a prestigious campus placement drive while still pursuing their studies.

The selected students are set to join the renowned Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, marking a major milestone in the college’s efforts to bridge academic learning with global industry opportunities.
The campus recruitment drive was organised by the Training and Placement Cell of KGP Srinagar in collaboration with ESAG, providing fifth-semester students from multiple engineering branches an opportunity to secure positions with a leading UAE-based conglomerate having a legacy of over six decades across retail, real estate, technology and industrial sectors.
The recruitment process involved a rigorous selection procedure comprising company presentations, online registration, Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and interviews. Following the selection process, the candidates were offered positions as Assistant Supervisors in the Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics streams.
The selected students expressed their gratitude to Principal, Dr. Shafquat Ara, along with the Heads of Departments and In-charges, for their guidance, encouragement and continuous support throughout their academic journey at KGP Srinagar.
