Kashmir Markazi Adab wa Saqafat and other dignitaries expressed deep condolences on the passing of the mother-in-law of renowned doctor and writer Dr. Gazanfar Ali. Remembered as a kind and gentle lady, the departed soul was mourned by family, friends, and members of the literary and cultural community.

A Fateh Khawani was held at Pampore, attended by prominent personalities including Farooq Wani, Chief Editor of Brighter Kashmir, Inayat Gul, General Secretary of Kashmir Markazi Adab wa Saqafat, Arshad Kaloo, noted journalist, and Yaqoob Sahib.
During the gathering, prayers were offered for the departed soul, with attendees seeking God’s mercy and blessings, praying for her to be granted Janatul Firdous. The event highlighted the solidarity and support of the community in times of grief and loss.
