
The Kho Kho Association of Ladakh proudly announces that both the Men’s and Women’s teams from Ladakh participated in the 57th Senior National Kho Kho Championship 2024-25, held in Odisha. This prestigious national event marked a historic chapter for Indian Kho Kho, with a display of high-level competition, integration of modern technologies, and increased participation from across the country.
General Secretary Kho Kho Association of Ladakh, Syed Mehraj Uddin Shah, lauded the performance of Team Ladakh, stating:
"Our players have shown remarkable improvement and delivered an inspiring performance. Their dedication and passion for the game are truly commendable."
He further extended his sincere thanks to Sudhanshu Mittal, President Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI), and Mr. M.S. Tyagi, General Secretary KKFI, for their unwavering support and special attention towards the development of Kho Kho in Ladakh.
"We are grateful to the KKFI leadership for recognizing and supporting talent from remote regions like Ladakh. Their encouragement has empowered our athletes to compete confidently at the national level," he added.
The 57th edition of the Senior National Championship stands as a milestone in the growth and modernization of Kho Kho, and Team Ladakh’s participation marks a step forward in promoting the sport in the Union Territory, he added.
