Langate, Nov 23: Langate Traders and Shopkeepers Association won by Lateef Ahmad Ganiee with a huge margin of votes. In his second term, Lateef Ahmad, along with his supporters, celebrated the victory with great enthusiasm. Out of 331 votes, Lateef won by a margin of 98 votes and defeated his counterpart, Tariq Mir.

After the victory, Lateef expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his supporters, voters, and the police administration of Handwara, especially SSP Handwara and SHO Langate, for ensuring the smooth conduct of the election.
Lateef highlighted that this victory is a win for democracy and a reflection of his supporters’ commitment to democratic values. He promised to resolve all the issues faced by the Langate shopkeepers. He assured that with the collective support of all shopkeepers, all pending matters will be addressed effectively.
Lastly, he extended a vote of thanks to his near and dear ones for their support in achieving this victory.
