Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday greeted the people on New Year 2025.
In a message the Lieutenant Governor said, "On the joyous occasion of New Year, I convey my warm greetings and good wishes to all.”
“The commencement of the New Year reminds us to renew our pledge towards building a society that is peaceful and compassionate. Let us also commit ourselves to the vision of Viksit Bharat and taking Jammu Kashmir to pinnacle of development and prosperity. Let us celebrate the diversity of our rich culture and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood in our society,” he said.
“May the New Year 2025 bring happiness, health and prosperity to all,” he further said.
The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also greeted people on New Year.
“2024 has been one hell of a year, when it was good it was amazing & when it was bad it really sucked. 2025 please go easier on my poor heart. Here’s wishing all of you a happy, peaceful & health 2025. May the flames of this bonfire fill your lives with the warmth of love & happiness,” Omar posted on X, formerly twitter.
