Dimapur, Nov 4: Lt Gen Abhijit S. Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding of Spear Corps, recently reviewed a cutting-edge Idea Innovation Display, highlighting the Indian Army’s focus on technological transformation and digital readiness. The display featured a range of advanced solutions designed to enhance operational efficiency, situational awareness, and combat preparedness.

Among the exhibits were the Real-Time Asset Intelligence & Visualization Platform, an Anti-Drone Fence, a Tethered Drone (wire-spooled), an AI-powered Sentiment Analysis Tool, and a Spectrum Analyzer, showcasing the Army’s efforts to integrate modern technology into its operations. Additionally, innovations such as frozen ready-to-eat meals reflected the Army’s commitment to agility and adaptability in challenging operational environments.
During the visit, Lt Gen Pendharkar emphasized the importance of innovation in maintaining the Army’s operational edge and encouraged all ranks to embrace technological advancements to meet future challenges. He lauded the teams behind the exhibits for their ingenuity and dedication, noting that such initiatives are crucial for the Army’s modernization and preparedness in an increasingly complex security landscape.
