Nagaland, Jan 20: : Lieutenant General Abhijit S. Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding Spear Corps, along with all ranks of the corps, extended warm greetings and best wishes to the Khiamniungan community and the people of Nagaland on the occasion of the Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah Festival.

In his message, Lt Gen Pendharkar expressed hope that the festival, celebrated with great cultural fervour, brings joy, happiness, and prosperity to the community. He emphasised the importance of festivals in preserving cultural heritage and fostering social harmony.
The Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah Festival is a traditional celebration observed by the Khiamniungan tribe, marking a time of thanksgiving, community bonding, and the celebration of local customs. The Spear Corps’ message reflects the close relationship between the Indian Army and local communities, highlighting the corps’ commitment to supporting cultural events and strengthening civil-military ties in Nagaland.
