Kohima,Feb 1: The Grand Finale celebrating music, unity, and raw talent from Nagaland’s finest bands was held on 31 January 2026 at Bhagat Stadium, drawing a vibrant audience of music enthusiasts and dignitaries.

The event was graced by Hon’ble Governor Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, GOC Spear Corps, and Shri S C Jamir, highlighting the importance of promoting cultural talent and youth engagement in the region.
The finale showcased electrifying performances by several bands, each bringing unique styles and musical innovation to the stage. After a rigorous contest, Desi Rewind Band emerged victorious, clinching the First Prize for their energetic and original performance.
Dignitaries lauded the event as a platform for nurturing local talent and fostering unity among diverse communities. Lt Gen Pendharkar appreciated the enthusiasm and creativity of the participants, emphasizing the role of music in promoting cultural pride and youth development.
