Jammu, April 13: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of the prestigious Red Eagle Division.During the visit, the Army Commander assessed various aspects of operational readiness and expressed satisfaction over the formation’s high standards of preparedness. He lauded the Division for its exemplary performance, attributing its success to rigorous training regimes and a focused approach towards technological absorption in modern warfare.Lt Gen Sharma emphasized the importance of continuous innovation, adaptation, and integration of advanced technologies to meet emerging security challenges. He encouraged all ranks to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and operational excellence.

The Army Commander also reviewed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming North Tech Symposium 2026, scheduled to be held from May 04 to May 06, 2026 at Prayagraj. The symposium aims to foster innovation, showcase cutting-edge technologies, and enhance synergy between the armed forces and the technology sector.
Reaffirming the significance of such initiatives, Lt Gen Sharma highlighted that platforms like the North Tech Symposium play a crucial role in strengthening the Indian Army’s technological edge and operational capabilities.
