Rajouri, April 21 : Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, visited forward-deployed units in the strategically important areas of Krishna Ghati and Bhimber Gali to review the anti-infiltration grid and assess the operational preparedness along the Line of Control (LoC).
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed by field commanders on the prevailing security situation, counter-infiltration measures, and the overall readiness of troops deployed in these sensitive sectors. He closely reviewed the multi-tiered anti-infiltration grid and lauded the troops for maintaining a high level of vigilance and operational efficiency under challenging conditions.
Interacting with the troops, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma commended them for their battle-hardened resilience, indomitable courage, and unwavering commitment to duty. He appreciated their relentless efforts in safeguarding the nation’s borders and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
The Army Commander emphasized the importance of continuous skill enhancement and the integration of modern technologies in operational strategies. He encouraged the troops to remain adaptive, mission-ready, and professionally competent to effectively counter emerging security challenges.
