
Churachandpur/Moreh/Shaibol, April 9: Lt Gen VMB Krishnan, Army Commander Eastern Command , accompanied by the GOC Spear Corps and senior officers of HQ IGAR (South), conducted a comprehensive visit to Churachandpur, Moreh, and Shaibol to review the prevailing security situation and operational readiness in the region.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on ongoing counter-insurgency operations, border security measures, and coordination mechanisms between the Army and other paramilitary and civil agencies. The focus was on ensuring a robust, responsive, and intelligence-driven security grid capable of addressing emerging threats.
Lt Gen Krishnan assessed the preparedness of troops deployed in the sensitive areas, emphasizing the importance of vigilance, rapid response, and synergy among all stakeholders.
