While I was teaching in class, one of my students asked, 'Sir, out of all the animals that have been created in this world and all their species, which one is the best and the most loyal to its owner?' Before answering this question, I asked him the question instead, 'Beta! You try to answer this with your own mind! I will give my answer later'.
He said, 'In my opinion, a dog is the only animal that is endowed with all the qualities and sometimes a dog seems more 'human' than a so called human-being.'
I looked at him with admiration and then said, 'Beta! In a sense, what you say is right. But to prove my point, let me illustrate this with an example. The nature of a dog is such that while eating its food, it does not let another dog come near it. The dog presses its food straight into its mouth, goes to a corner and chews it smoothly. This nature, however, does not benefit any other animal, be it a human or any other animal in the forest.
But one thing is certain that this nature is a disgrace to humanity, let alone any animal. Tell me, how would you feel if a human treated another human in this way? What would your reaction be? Even if both humans and dogs are different species, they are still animals. Then why is one a simple animal and the other a social animal?
The generosity and magnanimity of man is not in taking lessons from dogs or other animals, but in succeeding in teaching these animals some lessons from us. After all, man should be a human, not a dog. If once we try to make a dog a human, then it is fine, but trying to make a human a dog is a mockery of man and humanity.
Secondly, a dog does not feel the pain or suffering of another dog, but this is not the case of a human. As a human, we understand each other's pain, each other's feelings, each other's suffering, and this is our humanity, humanity and humanity.
A poet says.
Dard-dil ke waste paida kiya insaan ko
Warna taa’at ke liye kam na the karrubiyaan.
(Man was created for the sake of pain of the heart. Or else, the infinite angels were not less in numbers had it been for prostration to the Almighty.)

That is, God has created man to understand each other's pain, to help each other, to be a support for each other. Otherwise, had the Almighty wanted humans merely to bow down to Him with devotion and worship, the number of angels with Him is many times more than the total number of people born in the world so far, then there was no need for Him to create a human being and to be so concerned. He has created man as a human being to create a wave in each other's lives, to add color, to remove each other's loneliness and sorrow, to understand each other, to support each other, to love and be kind to each other.
So tell me, does any human being would ever want to be a dog or simply remain the most privileged human-being?
If you are a human being, then be aware of humanity and cultivate the pride and honor of being a human being. And yes, don't forget that a person's religion is humanity, so the Almighty would never like any discrimination between people on the basis of religion or caste.
