Mandir Bagh residents reel under darkness

Assistant Executive Engineer said that the power supply has been restored in the area

Residents of MandirBagh, GundAlharmar Lane here on Wednesday expressed resentment over lack of electricity in their locality.
Locals said that their area was without electricity for entire night due to some technical snag.
HilalBhat, a local said that they had to go without electricity for entire night and were shivering with cold due to the harsh winter.
“We are reeling under darkness for last 12 hours. PDD has failed to repair the snag. We make a fervent appeal to Chief Engineer PDD to look into the matter,” he said.
Locals said that students, currently appearing in various exams, are facing immense hardships while other students are also unable to attend online classes as electronic gadgets are down for want to power supply.
Various locals said that they also posted their grievances on social media including Twitter and tagging PDD with an effort to get its attention.
"We also raised the grievance and demand with local officials who assured the redressal. However, our pleas have fallen on deaf ears," locals rued.
Concerned Assistant Executive Engineer said that the power supply has been restored in the area.
