Imphal, Dec 11: Women from the Cosmetic Centre, Pubala, and the Yarn Bank, Toronglaobi, Manipur, took part in the National Integration Tour organized by the Red Shield Division of the Spear Corps. The initiative aimed to provide participants with exposure, skill development, and promote Atmanirbharta (self-reliance) while fostering national unity.

During the tour, the women visited iconic locations, spanning from Loktak Lake in Manipur to the Arabian Sea, gaining insights into different cultures and regional practices. The program also focused on enhancing vocational and entrepreneurial skills, empowering the participants to contribute effectively to their communities.
Officials said such tours strengthen social cohesion, build confidence among women, and create avenues for sharing knowledge and experiences across regions. The women of Bishnupur were praised for representing Manipur with enthusiasm and showcasing the state’s spirit on a national platform.
