Dimapur, Dec 8: The National Integration Tour 2025, organised by the Red Shield Division under SpearCorps, is providing women from Manipur with an enriching blend of cultural, social, and entrepreneurial experiences in Pune. The initiative aims to empower participants by exposing them to diverse traditions, skill-building opportunities, and avenues for showcasing their talent.

During their Pune leg, the group, known as the ‘Flag Weavers of Manipur,’ proudly displayed their intricate weaving craft, highlighting the rich heritage of the northeastern state. Their work attracted attention from local communities, fostering appreciation for Manipur’s art forms while promoting entrepreneurial skills among the participants.
The tour, designed to facilitate cultural exchange and personal growth, also incorporates workshops, interactive sessions, and exposure to urban social initiatives. Following Pune, the delegation will travel to Alibag, where they will engage in cultural exchange programs and beachside activities, offering participants opportunities to connect with local communities and learn new practices in arts, culture, and social engagement.
Officials from the Red Shield Division noted that the National Integration Tour not only strengthens cultural ties across regions but also empowers women from remote and rural areas by broadening their horizons, enhancing confidence, and fostering leadership skills. The initiative is part of a larger effort to promote national integration while enabling women to showcase their talents on broader platforms.
