Dimapur , Feb 13: On February 12, 2026, the Indian Army, in coordination with the Assam Rifles under Spear Corps, organised a series of medical camps at Loitang Khunnou in Manipur, Mabau in Assam, Khamua Noknu and Khamua Noksa in Nagaland, and Tengman in Arunachal Pradesh under the flagship initiative Operation Sadbhavana.
The camps provided villagers with free medical consultations, essential medicines, and health awareness sessions covering hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care. Medical teams conducted check-ups for children, women, and senior citizens, addressing both common ailments and chronic conditions.
Officials highlighted that these camps aim to enhance healthcare accessibility in remote areas while fostering goodwill and trust between local communities and security forces. Villagers actively participated in the sessions, expressing appreciation for the timely medical support and guidance on maintaining a healthier lifestyle.
Such initiatives under Operation Sadbhavana reflect the sustained efforts of the Indian Army and Assam Rifles to promote overall well-being, community development, and closer civil-military engagement across the northeastern region.
