Doctors at the Trauma Hospital Kangan said Mumtaz Ahmed Tedwa had suffered a cardiac episode, after which he lost consciousness and fell into the canal. His condition is reported to be stable, and he was later referred to SKIMS Soura for further medical management.
Officials added that the rescue and recovery operation was supervised on the ground by senior police officers, including the SDPO Kangan and SHO Kangan, to ensure effective coordination.
