New Delhi, July 23: Chairman of World Peace Harmony, Shakil Saifi, has welcomed the Centre's recent measures to ensure transparency in competitive examinations, saying the government has reaffirmed that the future and aspirations of the country's youth remain its highest priority.

In a statement, Saifi said the Narendra Modi-led government has demonstrated its commitment to safeguarding the interests of students by taking firm action against examination paper leaks, which have eroded the trust of millions of aspirants.
Referring to the recent protest by students at Jantar Mantar demanding a fair and transparent recruitment process, he said their voice was not merely a call for jobs but a demand to protect years of hard work, dreams and the future of the nation's youth. He praised the government for responding with seriousness and sensitivity.
Saifi said paper leak incidents not only disrupt examinations but also shatter the hopes of countless families, particularly those from poor, middle-class and rural backgrounds who invest years of effort despite limited resources. "Strict action against those responsible was the need of the hour," he said.
Welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement that fast-track courts will be established to ensure swift justice in paper leak cases, Saifi said the decision reflects the government's resolve to protect the integrity of the recruitment system. He noted that the Prime Minister has directed the concerned departments to ensure strict legal action against those involved.
He described the move as more than a law-and-order measure, calling it a national commitment to restoring the confidence of students and ensuring that merit alone determines success.
Saifi also welcomed the Prime Minister's assertion that no one who plays with the future of the youth will be spared, saying it sends a strong message to those attempting to compromise the credibility of competitive examinations.
Appealing to students not to lose hope, he urged them to continue pursuing their goals with dedication and confidence, assuring them that the government is working to ensure justice for every deserving candidate.
Concluding his statement, Saifi said that the vision of Viksit Bharat can only be realised when the country's youth have faith in a fair, transparent and accountable system.
