Srinagar:, July 6: MY Bharat Srinagar commemorated the birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee at the MY Bharat Kendra, Rajbagh, Srinagar, with active participation from youth.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of District Youth Officer, Srinagar, Mr. Gopal Namdeo. Around 50 participants, including MY Bharat Volunteers and Presidents of various Youth Clubs, took part in the celebration.
To mark the occasion, a series of activities were organized, including a Plantation Drive, Cleanliness Drive, and an Essay Competition highlighting the life, vision, and contributions of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee towards nation-building and youth empowerment.
Addressing the gathering, District Youth Officer Gopal Namdeo encouraged the youth to actively participate in community service and adopt the values of patriotism, selfless service, and social responsibility. He appreciated the enthusiasm of the volunteers and youth club members for making the programme successful.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment by the participants to continue working for environmental conservation, cleanliness, and nation-building through various community initiatives under the banner of MY Bharat.
