National Flag dedicated at Parshuram Kund

Arunachal Pradesh, Jan 14: An iconic National Flag was formally dedicated to the people at Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh in a ceremony organized by Dao Division under Spear Corps, highlighting the spirit of national pride and integration.

The inauguration was graced by Lieutenant General Abhijit S. Pendharkar, GOC Spear Corps, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Shri Chowna Mein, and Mrs. Uma Maskai, among other dignitaries. The event showcased strong civil–military cooperation, symbolizing the shared commitment of the armed forces and local administration towards fostering patriotism and community engagement.
The ceremony included the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, which now stands as a permanent symbol of unity, honour, and respect for the nation, serving as a point of inspiration for residents and visitors alike. Lt Gen Pendharkar emphasized that such initiatives strengthen the bond between the armed forces and local communities, promoting national integration and cultural pride.
The event also featured cultural activities reflecting the local heritage, reinforcing the collaborative spirit between civilians and military personnel in the region, and marking a memorable occasion for the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
