
A highly motivating and moving theatre presentation ‘Panch Prana’ featured in Natrang Theatre Studio here today. Written by Lalit Prakash and directed by Neeraj Kant this highly energising performance elaborated the five resolves the nation has pledged to make developed and resurgent India. Devised in a chorus style, the play opens with a group of performers appealing to the masses for coming forward and unitedly strive to make India a developed nation by 2024. Finding them confused and distracted over the mission, a crusader appears on the scene who pacify their conflicting notions and beautify describes each of the five resolves in a highly theatrical manner. Following this, each of the five resolves were theatrically demonstrated threadbare. On the historic day, when the celebrations of 75 years of India’s independence were completed, honourable Prime Minister of India described in detail the five resolves to ensure a developed India in next 25 years. These resolves included, a resolve of developed India, removing of all traces of colonial mindset, taking pride in our legacy, our strength of unity and fulfilling the duties of citizens with honesty. Amongst all the resolves, taking pride in our legacy was the highpoint of the play. An important prerequisite for a positive and confident mindset among the citizens is to have national pride. Pride in its millennia old cultural and spiritual heritage, pride in our legacy and contributions to the world and the pride in being the citizen of this glorious nation.
