Lekhapani,, Sep 24: A formation under the Spear Corps is conducting a 12-day Army Attachment Camp for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets at Lekhapani in Assam, providing young participants an opportunity to experience military life and gain practical exposure beyond the classroom.

The camp has been designed to familiarise NCC cadets with various aspects of military training, discipline and leadership. As part of the programme, the cadets are being exposed to Army weapons and equipment through dedicated displays, giving them an insight into their functioning and operational significance.
The cadets are also participating in obstacle training and other military-oriented activities aimed at developing physical fitness, confidence, teamwork and mental resilience.
Besides training, the camp provides an opportunity for the participants to interact with Army personnel and understand the values of discipline, camaraderie, teamwork and leadership that form an integral part of military service.
The Army Attachment Camp is intended to provide NCC cadets with a first-hand understanding of the armed forces and the challenges associated with military life. Such exposure also enables youth to appreciate the importance of teamwork, responsibility and commitment while encouraging them to explore opportunities for a career in the Indian Army.
The 12-day programme is expected to offer the cadets a meaningful and enriching experience, combining practical activities with military orientation and interaction with personnel.
