visited forward locations in Ladakh to review the operational preparedness, combat readiness and overall preparedness of troops deployed in the strategically significant high-altitude region.During the visit, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma interacted with officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and soldiers deployed in challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions. He reviewed the prevailing operational situation and took stock of the preparedness of formations and troops to effectively respond to any emerging challenge.Lt Gen Sharma has been continuously undertaking security and operational review meetings and visiting important military formations and forward areas across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. His sustained engagements with commanders and troops reflect the Northern Command's continued focus on maintaining a high level of vigilance, strengthening operational preparedness and ensuring effective coordination in strategically important areas.
