Srinagar, Sep 7: The recent visit of Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Northern Command, to hinterland units in South Kashmir underlined the Army’s continued focus on operational preparedness, counter-terrorism capabilities and coordination among security agencies.

During the visit, Lt Gen Sharma reviewed the prevailing security situation, assessed the operational readiness of formations and interacted with officers and soldiers deployed in challenging conditions.
