September 13, 2025 | BK News Service

Imphal / Kohima, Sep 12: As part of its ongoing initiative to foster patriotism, discipline, and national awareness among the youth of the Northeast, Spear Corps of the Indian Army conducted a series of impactful interactions under #OperationSindoor across Nagaland and Manipur.

On September 10, large-scale motivational sessions were held in Tuensang and Kiphire, where over 700 students were deeply moved by stories of valour, sacrifice, and commitment shown by Indian Armed Forces personnel. Army officers shared real-life examples of courage under fire and selfless service to the nation, leaving a lasting impression on the young minds.
Continuing the campaign, on September 11, more than 120 students in Kohima participated in another interactive event that focused on the professionalism, ethics, and high standards maintained by the Armed Forces. The session also included insights into career opportunities in the defence sector, encouraging the youth to consider serving the nation in uniform.
In Imphal, Manipur, the campaign reached 200 students of St. Anthony’s School, where they were introduced not only to the bravery of Indian troops but also to the cutting-edge technology employed by the Armed Forces in safeguarding national interests. The demonstrations and lectures showcased modern warfare tools, surveillance systems, and tactical innovations, sparking interest in defence technology among the students.
An officer from Spear Corps noted, “Operation Sindoor is not merely about awareness—it’s about building a connection between the Armed Forces and the youth of this region. We aim to ignite a sense of purpose, discipline, and national pride in the next generation.”
Through Operation Sindoor, Spear Corps is not only highlighting the operational excellence of the Armed Forces but also bridging the gap between soldiers and citizens, especially in the strategically sensitive and culturally rich Northeast.
These initiatives continue to reinforce the Armed Forces' role as mentors, protectors, and nation-builders, while inspiring thousands of young Indians to dream big and contribute meaningfully to the country’s progress
