The Closing Ceremony of the Open Kashmir Wushu Championship 2025 was held today at the Polo Ground Indoor Stadium, Srinagar. The three-day championship, organized by the District Wushu Association Srinagar, took place from 16th to 18th September 2025 and witnessed the participation of more than 700 players from across different districts.

The event was graced by Mr. Tausif Rahana as the Chief Guest. Among the dignitaries present were:

Rameez Ahmad Dar, Khelo India Centre Shopian
Irfan Ahmad Wani, PMDP Shadipura
The closing ceremony also saw the enthusiastic presence of a large number of parents and sports lovers who came to encourage the young athletes.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Tausif Rahana, highly appreciated the performances and motivated the players to continue working hard for future competitions.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Mohammed Maqsood Rather, Joint Secretary, Wushu Association of J&K, who extended his gratitude to all officials, parents, and participants for making the event a grand success.
