Pattan plunges into darkness as power outage worsens

Residents of Pattan and its adjacent areas in north Kashmir's Baramulla district complaining lack of electricity in their areas,, leaving the villagers reeling under darkness.
People across the pattan,said that Pattan Recieving Station and Feeders of 𝗡𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮, 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗻, 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻, Hangiwara and 𝗭𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗺 remains often out of order and the villages which remain often without electricity associated with feeders of Pattan ,Nehalpora, Hanjiwara Buran and Zangam and all these feeders receive electricity from Pattan receiving Station and work on Newly sanctioned Nehalpora Receiving station is incomplete,Due to this reason upper belt of pattan is suffering during this Winter cold wave, they added.
“Authorities have completely neglected us. We are reeling under darkness and it is adding to our sufferings in winters, They said.
Erratic power supply irks the students of these areas as they can not get the proper time for studies during night hours and the patients also suffer due to non availibility of electricity.
They appeal LG administration to look into this matter and install latest machinery on these feeders and Pattan receiving station and Newly constructed Nehalpora receiving station should be functional as soon as possible.
