
Srinagar, Mar 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Social Welfare Department has awarded prominent poet and writer Mushtaq Ahmed Shah (Muharram) its highest recognition for his exemplary contributions to welfare activities for senior citizens and the underprivileged.
Mushtaq Muharram, who serves as Media Secretary of the KMAS for Charar Sharif, Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Relief and Research Trust, Help Foundation Tulsi Bagh, Srinagar, and Senior Citizens Council, Chanapura, has also been actively involved in promoting the Kashmiri language and literature.
Officials lauded his efforts in combining social service with cultural and literary initiatives, highlighting his longstanding dedication to community welfare and the enrichment of Kashmiri literary heritage.
