Anantnag, Feb 2: Police in Anantnag have achieved a significant success against drug trafficking during a naka checking operation at Nagdandi Crossing.

During checking, a person identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Nabi Malik resident of Sombruna, was apprehended. During search, Charas powder-like substance weighing approximately 330 grams was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 04/26 under relevant sections of law has been registered, and investigation has been initiated.
J&K Police reiterate its commitment to eradicate the menace of drug abuse and urges the general public to cooperate by sharing information related to drug trafficking.
