
In a determined effort to combat drug abuse and trafficking, Police in Kulgam have booked four drug peddlers under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act.
Kulgam Police successfully executed four PIT NDPS Act warrants issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, against four hardcore drug peddlers namely Fayaz Ahmad Khan resident of Gudder and Naseer Ahmad Shan resident of Kilam, Tariq Ahmad Rather resident of Yamrach, Yaripora and Ghulam Nabi Lone resident of Rambhama. Following the execution of the warrants, the accused have been lodged in District Jail Udhampur, District Jail Poonch, District Jail Kathua and District Jail Rajouri respectively.
This action against them was initiated following the submission of material records, dossiers and connected documents by the Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam.
