Continuing its Public Outreach and youth engagement, Police in Awantipora under Civic Action Programme organized a Road Race event in Aripal Tral.
The event was flagged off by SDPO Tral Shri Mubashir Rasool-JKPS. The race started from Handoora and culminated at Aripal. In the event, scores of youth of Sub-Division Tral participated with great enthusiasm.
While interacting with the participants, SDPO Awantipora said that students/youth should make optimum use of sports and channelize their energy in the right direction through sports activities.
During closing ceremony Commandant 42RR, DySP DAR, SDPO Tral distributed cash prizes/certificates/trophies among the winners besides, distributed participation certificates among all the participants.
On the occasion, Tehsildar Aripal, BMO Aripal, ZEO Lurgam, SHO Police Station Tral, Incharge Police Post Aripal and other Police officers were also present.
