As part of the run-up to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, J&K Police today organized a “Run for Unity” event at Rohama, Rafiabad.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from people of all walks of life, including students, teachers, youth, and elders. Participants ran together to spread the message of peace, national integration, and the values of unity and pride championed by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
This program was among a series of events being held across all police stations of Police District Sopore to mark the historic occasion.
The initiative also reflects J&K Police’s commitment to strengthening community bonds, promoting patriotism, and encouraging the younger generation to uphold the spirit of unity and national pride.
