Police in Bandipora organized a volleyball tournament at Govt Higher secondary school Kaloosa under the Civic Action Programme, aimed to strengthen the police-public relations. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from several teams, proving a high level of skill and competitive spirit.
The event was inaugurated by DySP Hqrs Bandipora Shri Latief Khan-JKPS accompanied by other officers of Bandipora police.
Speaking at the event, DYSP Hqrs lauded the participants for their sportsmanship and highlighted the role of sports in building mutual trust between police and community. This initiative aims to strengthen the bond between the police and the public, bridge the gap between them, and most importantly divert youth from drugs.
