Police in Srinagar have recovered a kidnapped girl and arrested an accused person involved in the commission of crime.
On June 16, Police Station Bemina received a written application from one person resident of Khosa Mohalla Khumani Chowk stating therein that his daughter has been kidnapped by Tanveer Ahmad Dar of Khumani Chowk Bemina. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 54/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered and investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation and with strenuous efforts of Police, the kidnapped girl was recovered and the accused was also arrested.
After completion of all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her legal heirs.
