
Srinagar, Feb 11: Light to moderate rain and snowfall were recorded across parts of Kashmir over the past 24 hours, with Gulmarg receiving the highest precipitation.
According to the Meteorological Department, Gulmarg recorded 22.2 mm rainfall and 23 cm fresh snowfall. Pahalgam received 8.8 mm rainfall and 4.5 cm snow. Srinagar recorded 1.2 mm rain, while Qazigund, Kokernag and Konibal received light rainfall.
Night temperatures remained 1–4°C above normal in most places. Gulmarg was the coldest at minus 5.5°C, while Srinagar recorded a minimum of 2.8°C.
The MeT department has forecast mainly dry weather over the next 24 hours, with isolated light rain or snowfall possible thereafter.
